Academica – a publisher in the Gyldendal Akademisk Group
Academica is a Danish publishing house that is a part of the major Danish publishing group Gyldendal. We publish textbooks and other materials for higher education and research, and we have a large network of external editors and reviewers.
Most of our publications are in Danish. However we publish works in English, German, French and Spanish for, e.g., study programs and courses taught in English and other foreign languages.
To ensure an international readership, we also cooperate with publishing houses in other countries in cases where our books also meet the needs of foreign markets. Therefore we have included English-language information about all of our titles in English, German, French and Spanish on our website. English-language information is provided for selected titles in Danish as well.
Maintaining an innovative profile on the Danish market for e-learning is another very important issue for us. We have published a number of e-books, and some of our books also have e-learning resources.
